The moment competitive Elden Ring fans have been waiting for has finally arrived. After months of anticipation following the successful Exhibition Weekend trial run in May, Bingo Brawlers Season 5 officially kicks off on October 3rd, 2025.

We’ve pulled the key details from that original post into this dedicated event coverage article so you can find everything in one place as the tournament unfolds. Think of this as your Season 5 addition to the Bingo Brawlers website, your one-stop hub where we’ll be updating schedules, results, and (maybe even) standout moments as the tournament unfolds.

What You Need to Know About Season 5

Season 5 officially adopts the 2v2 format that proved so successful during the Exhibition Weekend. Here’s what makes this format so special:

The Core Concept Remains Unchanged Bingo Brawlers isn’t just another speedrunning tournament – it’s a head-to-head race where teams compete to complete objectives on a randomized 5×5 bingo board. Each square represents a unique in-game challenge, from slaying notorious bosses to collecting rare items. The lockout format means once a team claims a square, it’s off-limits to their rivals, forcing competitors to think fast and strategize on the fly.

Teamwork Takes Center Stage The duo format spans both the original journey through the Lands Between and the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Teams of two face off, with each member taking on a specialized role – one warrior tackles the base game challenges while their partner ventures into the DLC realm.

The competition centers around completing objectives that come in three varieties:

• Base Game: Completed solely by the team’s base game specialist
• DLC: Exclusive to the Shadow of the Erdtree expert
• Cooperative/Crossover: These require true teamwork – each player must complete their designated portion of the objective in their respective realm

This format rewards not just individual prowess but strategic coordination between teammates. Teams must communicate effectively and make tactical decisions about which objectives to prioritize as they race to claim victory on the bingo board.

Technical Details You Should Expect

Season 5 will continue to use:

• The Bingo Brawlers Weapon Randomizer: This randomizer randomizes dropped weapons and weapons on the map by category, randomizes starting classes by giving them all random stats, and fully randomizes shop inventories, keeping every match unpredictable and exciting
• The same winning conditions: first to complete a line (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) wins instantly; otherwise, the team with the most squares after two hours takes victory
• No exploits or glitches allowed – just pure skill and knowledge of Elden Ring’s vast world

Meet The Teams

Captain Domo has assembled an incredible lineup featuring returning veterans (with most players returning from Season 4‘s competitive field) and a skilled newcomer, all ready to prove their mastery of FromSoftware’s brutal masterpiece.

Round-Robin Schedule

In the fist phase of the season every team plays against every other team once to determine the four contenders for the semi-finals.

What a way to kick off the season! Team Positive Vibes claimed victory with a winning Bingo in just 48:55 – but it nearly ended even sooner.
Around the 40-minute mark, star0chris had Malenia down to her last sliver of HP. Victory was right there. Then he unluckily died to her Phantom Spirits attack. That incident gave bushy and team “Bushy Stache” a lifeline, and suddenly both players were fighting Malenia simultaneously. Whoever defeated her first would seal the Bingo for their team.
The advantage? Chris had already pushed her into phase 2 before bushy arrived. That head start proved decisive, securing the win for Positive Vibes.
The real twist? Despite having DLC content on the board, it was purely base game squares that decided the match. Your DLC specialists vswed and adef both marked squares, but ended up as sidekicks while the original Elden Ring content determined the outcome.

Welcome to competitive Bingo, nessonetta! Her debut match started rough – YoJosherino sniped her very first square attempt. Talk about a baptism by fire.
The match opened slowly, with itzCBD finally marking the first square after nearly 11 minutes. Team itzerino jumped to an early 2:0 lead while blanxz racked up serious map progress. Then came a thrilling decision: blanxz could have easily blocked a potential Bingo on column one by rushing the Leda rune, but opted for a furnace golem instead. That choice let CBD close the gap, and suddenly both players were racing for the Leda kill. Despite blanxz being ahead after his golem kill, he barely sniped the square in the end – we’re talking seconds ahead of CBD.
After nessonetta and josh each added a square, itzerino held a narrow 5:4 lead around the 30-minute mark. Then things accelerated. Josh took down Lansseax, also contributing to a combined square that CBD finished shortly later, securing an 8:5 victory with the second Bingo of the day for itzerino at just 38:21.

Team PositiveVibes looked dominant early, rushing to a 3:0 lead before Monkey Business even got on the board. Then the Logur chaos began.
Mitch had him down to the last HP – literally one hit from cutting PositiveVibes’ lead to 4:3 – and died. That opened the door for adef to extend PositiveVibes’ advantage to 5:2, but he also died to Logur. Mitch cleaned up on his second attempt, and with aggy adding another square, we were suddenly tied 4:4. Monkey Business briefly took their first lead at 5:4, but PositiveVibes answered with two quick squares to regain control at 6:5. They were one square from Bingo, forcing Monkey Business into defensive mode and successfully blocking the win threat.
At the 38-minute mark, PositiveVibes held an 8:6 advantage. The score crept to 9:8, still in PositiveVibes’ favor. Then adef hit a wall against Rellana while aggy and mitch both raced for the Rellana/Rennala square simultaneously. Monkey Business capitalized – not only equalizing but pushing ahead 10:9 for their second lead of the match. That momentum shift changed everything. Monkey Business seized control and cruised to victory, closing out 13:10.

Right out of the gate, blanxz and vswed collided on the same square – with blanxz taking it. Bushy equalized, but Blanxonetta grabbed the match’s first combined square to retake the lead. That advantage evaporated quickly as Bushy Stache rattled off three consecutive squares for a 4:2 lead.
blanxz fought back to tie it 4:4. Then came a crucial snipe: with ness struggling against Radahn, bushy swooped in last second to steal the square and put Bushy Stache back ahead. He immediately used those runes to hit 30 Arcane, extending the lead to 6:4 and shortly after to 7:4.
vswed went to kill the DLC death rite bird, while Blanxonetta could narrow the gap to 8:6. Parallel Rennala/Rellana battles erupted next, with Bushy Stache emerging victorious. They followed up by sniping the remembrance duplication square, pushing their lead to 10:6.
Blanxonetta showed life when blanxz killed Senessax and used that synergy to snipe the Wyrm/Drake/Dragon combined square, making it 10:8. But Bushy Stache slammed the door, claiming the next three squares to seal a 13:8 victory.

This match had it all. The opening saw both teams colliding on identical squares – Bry and Aggy battling for Radahn while Tom and Mitch raced to Rellana. Monkey Business struck first: aggy’s superior RNG and bleed sniped Radahn from Bry, while Mitch edged out Tom on Rellana and immediately spent those runes on memory of grace. 2:0 Monkey Business. Tom made the smart call to kill Moonrithyll, blocking a potential Bingo and getting FrogCarSpin on the board. Mitch answered by duping a remembrance, extending the lead to 3:1. The first 20 minutes were absolutely packed.

Then came one of the unluckiest moments you’ll see: Bry killed Rennala but died to the very last spirit summon Rennala had called. The defeat didn’t count – she had to redo the entire fight while Monkey Business pushed to 6:1. Bry got it second try, cutting the deficit to 6:3. Suddenly a diagonal Bingo opened up for FrogCarSpin. The score tightened – 7:4, 7:5, 8:5, 8:6. Tom killed Messmer with a remembrance weapon, putting FrogCarSpin one square from Bingo. Both he and Mitch raced for Death Knight, with Mitch sniping it last second. 9:7.

Now both teams targeted the same combined square: DLC player kills Consort Radahn, base game player kills Mohg. Bry and Aggy both died to Mohg, with Aggy’s weapon dealing better damage. Bry died a second time – Aggy got the kill first. Tom finished Radahn ahead of Mitch, but Mitch also got through, blocking the Bingo and giving Monkey Business an 11:7 lead. The match was essentially over. Monkey Business closed it out 13:8 in what was an absolutely intense back-and-forth battle.

What an intense match, though it was somewhat overshadowed by what I’d call “the sorceries incident.”
Early in the game, Tom went to acquire 7 sorceries. He collected the last one missing and marked the square, but shortly after realized that due to the randomization he’d gotten a duplicate – how unlucky can you be? When he unmarked it, the 10-second threshold had already passed. The square was lost and no longer reachable for team FrogCarSpin. As a corner square, this eliminated the threat of three potential Bingo lines. The incident not only messed them up but also disrupted their game plan, reducing their options by quite a margin.

However, through most of the game FrogCarSpin maintained a lead by a couple of squares. There were thrilling battles for squares, clutch decisions, and plenty of drama as team itzerino fought their way back. In the end, itzerino took victory by Bingo when both teams were battling for that decisive square – the one that would achieve the win for CBD and Josh. This match was drama in the making and stayed on a knife’s edge till the last blow was dealt.

Team Positive Vibes clung to a narrow lead for most of this marathon match. Around the 50-minute mark, they blocked Itzerino’s last Bingo threat, forcing a majority win scenario at 7:9. Then Josh sniped the Crucible Knights square from chris, cutting the deficit to just one. Both teams pivoted to combined squares. Positive Vibes pushed to 8:10, but Itzerino kept clawing back. The score crawled forward – 9:10, 9:11, 10:11, then 11:11 at the 1:13 mark. Close as hell.

DLC players raced for Consort Radahn while base game players tackled Black Knife Assassins, putting Positive Vibes ahead 11:12. After Josh and chris finished their objectives, the outcome fell entirely into the DLC players’ hands. Both adef and CBD’s Consort fights were absolutely synchronous – CBD claimed the square by a fraction of seconds, tying it 12:12.

One square remained. Both needed Senessax, but CBD had significant map progress advantage. He died on his first attempt, giving adef a chance to close in. Second try, CBD sealed it for team Itzerino. Final score: 13:12 after 1:32. True cinema.

What an insane match! A small mistake by FrogCarSpin seemed to put Positive Vibes on the path to victory, but little by little the tides began to shift. FrogCarSpin clawed their way back, earning a well-deserved win with a furious comeback.
