The first game was a nail-biter, with both teams neck and neck until the final buzzer. In the end, Team Tom&Berry took the win by a mind-blowing margin of two seconds. But that was not the end of the thrill. The second match was also close till the end, with the momentum shifting several times until Team bushriz earned the win.

We can keep this one short: In the end, both winning teams cruised to a relatively unchallenged start-to-finish victory.

If Team Glorp earns another victory against Team bushriz on the next matchday, we are heading for a thrilling, all-decisive match between them and current leaders Tom&Berry for the league win.

What a thrilling match! Team bushriz and Team Glorp were neck-and-neck for ages. bushriz then pulled ahead, but Mitchriz’s 30-minute struggle with the final boss nearly cost them everything. Glorp made a strong comeback, but bushriz clutched a narrow win in the end, thanks to bushy, who finished very early. This victory also crowned Team Tom&Berry as the Randomania champions. However, the race for second is tighter than a dodge roll against Malenia’s Waterfowl Dance!

An exciting match unfolded. The two teams were evenly matched for over an hour before Team BendDatAzz gained the upper hand. They then powered through to secure their second victory, with BenderZGreat and AzaZ_ow impressively defeating the final boss on their first attempt. Team guh also finished, but remains winless and has one more chance this season to escape a whitewash.

The final matchday kicked off with another thrilling match, both teams neck-and-neck for quite some time until team Glorp gained a slight edge. However, team Tom&Berry staged a strong comeback, becoming the first to collect all eight Messmer shards. Their path to the final boss, though, was a long one. In the climactic showdown, all four players battled the final boss simultaneously, leaving spectators on the edge of their seats. Thanks to their earlier start in the final fights, team Glorp ultimately clinched the victory. This marked Tom&Berry’s first loss of the season, though they still finished as Randomania Champions. Team Glorp now shares second place with team bushriz, setting the stage for a decisive match next week.

The last game proved to be just as exciting, with another intense match developing where both teams remained evenly matched until the very end. While Captain_Domo and GustavGabel were waiting for their respective teammates to collect the final shard – so they could start the final fight, their teammates star0chris and SeriousChallenges were battling for exactly this goal, dashing through the Realm of Shadow. In the end, it played out very well for team Bratwurst, as star0chris had to cover a much longer distance to collect that final shard. Team Bratwurst snagged the win, tying for second place with teams bushriz and Glorp.

And there you have it! Two more matches will be scheduled for next week. Team Bratwurst, having defeated the other teams tied for second place, will await the winner of the match between Team bushriz and Team Glorp. What an incredibly exciting event this has turned out to be!

Update, October 1st, 2024: Well, it seems there are scheduling problems, and unfortunately, it’s not possible to bring everyone together. As a result, Team Bratwurst takes second place, while bushriz and Glorp share third place.

Update, October 11, 2024: Well, it seems the scheduling problems have been sorted out and the playoffs for 2nd place will unfold on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 18:00 (MESZ) – now that is some news!

The qualifier match for second place between teams bushriz and Glorp was closely contested for a long time when considering the number of Mesmer Shards each team collected. However, the route chosen by team Glorp proved to be the better one. This was somewhat lucky, as Team bushriz’s strategy would have been superior most of the time (imho), but that’s the nature of Randomania. We definitely saw a lot of boss fighting, where Mitchriz, in particular, had the misfortune of battling through three bosses without obtaining a single Shard. This should not diminish the efforts of Team Glorp, who managed to get through their selected boss fights cleanly. In the end, Team Glorp acquired the last two shards relatively uncontested and entered their final fights before Team bushriz had even reached the Sealing Tree and still had to collect two more Shards. With this clear win, they advanced to the decisive match for 2nd place against team Bratwurst.

The last match of this season turned out to be just another nail-biter.
After a head start for Team Glorp, giving them a 4:2 lead in Mesmer Shards, Team Bratwurst had a chance of drawing closer. However, they had to use “Memory of Grace” and restart their boss fights, but got through fast and tied the game at 5:5. Again, we saw a lot of parallel boss fighting, where it was difficult to decide which of the four fights to follow. This time, it was Team Bratwurst forcing Team Glorp to use “Memory of Grace” to exit their boss fights and start over, while they themselves headed for the Jori and Bale fights, gaining a 6:5 lead.
Glorp equalized at 6:6, and all four players approached their final boss fights to collect the last two missing Shards. Bratwurst came through first to tackle the Leda and Radahn fights, while LilAggy collected Shard number seven for Team Glorp. Catalystz had to finish the Bale fight to get the last Shard for team Glorp. Meanwhile, both Serious and Gustav started the final fights and LilAggy fought Leda. Gustav got through first, putting the pressure on Serious to grab the win for Bratwurst, which he successfully did, bringing them over the finish line.
In the end, the final standings remained the same as they were before these decisive matches, but we were treated to two more thrilling encounters to enjoy.
