Greetings, Tarnished! The latest Elden Ring patch (version 1.15) has arrived, and it’s bringing some changes to your favorite weapons and skills. Let’s dive into the juicy details that’ll have you itching to jump back into the Lands Between.

Golem Fist: Now Packing a Real Punch
- No More Phantom Punches: That annoying bug where your Golem Fist would sometimes tickle enemies instead of clobbering them? Fixed! Your punches will now consistently deal damage, even when you’re under funky status effects.
- Heavy Hits, Heavier Damage: The one-handed heavy attack got a power boost. Time to introduce some bosses to your beefed-up knuckle sandwiches!
Aspects of the Crucible: Thorns – Rapid-Fire Edition
- Speed Demon: This incantation can now be cast faster, when used in quick succession, than you can say “praise the Erdtree.” Unleash a barrage of thorns and watch your enemies do the dodge dance!
Smithing Talisman: Equal Opportunity Buffer
- Throw Everything: The Smithing Talisman now properly buffs ALL your throwing attacks. Axes, knives, pots – if you can chuck it, it’s getting a boost!
Skill and Weapon Combos: Back to Basics
- No More Funky Fusions: Fixed a bug that let you use skills with weapons in ways the Two Fingers never intended.
Other Notable Fixes
- Shadow Keep Church District: No more Groundhog Day cutscenes when re-entering the area.
- Scadutree Avatar Arena: Ashes can now be used throughout the entire battleground.
- Rellana, Twin Moon Knight: She’s had some AI tweaks to behave more predictably (but no less deadly).
- General Improvements: Various enemies got a touch-up in the looks and behavior department, and some pesky sound glitches have been silenced.
- Performance Boost: The game should run smoother than Patches’ sales pitch, with several performance enhancements across the board.
Remember, Tarnished, you’ll need to update to App Version 1.15 and Regulation Version 1.15 to get these changes. Make sure you’re up to date before you go swinging your newly buffed weapons at the nearest Tree Sentinel!
While not a game-changing update, this patch refines existing mechanics and fixes several irritating bugs. Players (even though I think there aren’t too many) who favor the affected weapons and skills will notice the most significant changes, but all players should benefit from the overall improvements in game stability and performance.
